the context

Blablabus invites to travel simply. Economical and efficient, the long-distance bus journey advocated by the young company is based on a key value: customer satisfaction. For a mobility player, this obsession with the customer is today inseparable from a qualitative mobile application.

Faced with the pitfalls of rapid obsolescence or extended development times, Blablabus wanted to be able to react immediately and precisely to the changing expectations of its passengers.
in-Tact to accompanied Blablabus in the development of 2 applications: The consumer application and the business application for captains.

The challenge

The mobile application has become a major tool for new mobility. Blablabus wanted to offer its customers a powerful tool in constant progress, closer to the uses.

The in-tact's answer

in-Tact relied on agile methods and a close relationship to rebuild Blablabus applications on a sound basis, then engage with the SNCF subsidiary in a process of continuous innovation.

Two applications, two uses
The consumer application has been upgraded to meet the state of mobility technologies. Customer account, booking and viewing tickets, travel information, location of stops: the travel experience is seamless.
The business application, built entirely by In-Tact, is dedicated to Blablabus captains. It gives drivers the means to streamline the journey of travelers, while facilitating their mission. Sale on board and scans of tickets are now on the agenda.

Agility, proximity
Short iteration cycles, flexibility in evolutions, continuous monitoring: Blablabus's ambitions were in perfect harmony with the SCRUM agile method, an In-Tact specialty. The implementation of “sprints” with a demonstration of iterations every two weeks allowed the Blablabus teams to keep in close touch with the evolutions of the applications. A transparency that today allows us to consider the future serenely: Blablabus has entrusted in-Tact the mission to update new directions for the application.

Today, the Blablabus application facilitates the journeys of more than 19,000 users per day and is a central tool at the heart of the travel experience.
On the application side for captains, more than 500 drivers are now equipped and the application is already exported to drivers of European partners.
